Run two locations and it widens: Tekmetric needs a plan for each location plus the Multi-Shop add-on at $70 per shop, so two shops on Scale is $1,018 a month. Autograff is one subscription per location with no surcharge, so two shops on Pro is $700 and two on Base is $200.

If you don't want the marketing module the gap narrows to $89 a month, and at that point price isn't the question. It comes down to whether your phone gets answered when every bay is full, and whether there's someone at the software company who knows your shop's name.

Tekmetric publishes three tiers: Start at $199/month, Grow at $349/month and Scale at $439/month, each discounted when billed annually to $179, $309 and $409. Enterprise is custom priced. Neither of us charges per seat, so the number that moves is the modules: Marketing, Multi-Shop and Tire Suite are separate monthly add-ons at $345, $70 and $39 per shop, on top of whichever tier you're on. Autograff is $100 or $350/month for the whole team, or $90 and $300 on annual billing, with nothing sold on top at either price.

What's included in Autograff's price?

ShopOS has two plans, no per-seat fees, no add-ons. Base runs the shop: estimating, invoicing, parts inventory, scheduling, CRM. Pro adds the AI receptionist and AI insights. Tekmetric sells marketing, multi-shop management and its tire module as separate monthly add-ons on top of whichever tier you're on.

What does Tekmetric cost for a second location?

Does Tekmetric have an AI receptionist?

Not as part of the platform. Tekmetric covers customer communication through messaging and digital authorizations, but calls still need a person to answer them, or a third-party answering tool bolted on. Autograff's AI receptionist comes with Pro at no extra cost, with no separate subscription and no per-call charge.

Will I lose my data if I switch from Tekmetric?

No. Customer records, vehicle history and your parts catalog all come across as part of onboarding, so you're not starting over on day one.
